Our Country is Screwed

How does anyone expect our country to get out of its overwhelming national debt (which apparently is now over $14 trillion dollars, thats $14,000,000,000,000.00 and thats a whole lot of zeros), when every dollar we have added to our circulation is borrowed with interest from the Federal Reserve.

That means that for every dollar that enters circulation, we owe the Federal Reserve that dollar plus (x) amount of interest. 1=1+X.

The Federal Reserve is the central bank of the United States and it supplies all the money in circulation. It doesn't just give our country the money, it loans it. So since we are in debt to them, how does America pay off the debt to the Federal Reserve? By borrowing more money, also at interest. This just puts our country in perpetual debt. And who has to pay this debt off? The American citizens.

What makes it even worse is the Federal Reserve is privately owned and about as Federal as Federal Express. Banking families such as the Rockefellers and Rothschilds control it. Woodrow Wilson who was president at the time it was signed into law regretted passing the act and later said this:
"I am a most unhappy man. I have unwittingly ruined my country. A great industrial nation is controlled by its system of credit. Our system of credit is concentrated. The growth of the nation, therefore, and all our activities are in the hands of a few men. We have come to be one of the worst ruled, one of the most completely controlled and dominated Governments in the civilized world -- no longer a Government by free opinion, no longer a Government by conviction and the vote of the majority, but a Government by the opinion and duress of a small group of dominant men."

Please read for yourself and do your own research into it. I feel that the vanishing value of the American dollar and ever mounting debt placed on us Americans is just one of the many ploys and factors put into place to prepare for what will eventually be the New World Order.
Also, check out the Amero, almost no one's heard of it and its something that affects all of us.

Take care everyone, and remember to question authority and take nothing simply at face value.

"Give me control of a nation's money supply, and I care not who makes it’s laws" - Mayer Amschel Rothschild  (Godfather of the Rothschild Banking Cartel of Europe)

"If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around them will deprive the people of all property until their children wake up homeless on the continent their Fathers conquered...I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies... The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to whom it properly belongs." -Thomas Jefferson

Retro Monday 6/27/11

Well for most people (myself included), Mondays aren't exactly your favorite day of the week. So I want to take readers back to their childhood, even for a few minutes, because who wouldn't love to be a kid again? My child hood wasn't the best or perfect, but I do have plenty of happy moments.

Gaming, movies, toys and music have always been a huge part of my life, so I plan on having a few cherished things from my childhood (and hopefully your childhood as well) showcased. If this blog grows (which I hope it will, I'll also be open to suggestions from you guys.)

Sega Genesis:
The picture above is actually a Sega Genesis 2, which is the model I received when I was just 6 years old.

This console was known by two names, the Mega Drive in Japan, Europe, Asia, Australia and Brazil and the Genesis in North America. The Mega Drive was released in 1988 in Japan and the Genesis in North America in 1989. Surprisingly the last new licensed game for the system was released as late as 2002 in Brazil.
This console introduced us to Sonic the Hedgehog, Sega's answer to Nintendo's Mario. And in America, was the Super Nintendo's main competitor.
This is a very, very brief description of the console and its history, to read on, check out: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mega_Drive

I received this console in 1996 for my 6th birthday, yes, I know I'm young. I remember Columns (which was never much fun for me when I was a child), shipped with the console. This wasn't the first console I had played, but it was definitely the first I owned.

The games I remember playing the most were:
  • Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (I played it all the time and saved plenty of animals from the clutches of evil Dr. Robotnik)

  • Eternal Champions (one of the greatest fighting games of all time)

  • Madden 96 (always have and always will, love football)

  • Boogerman (I'm pretty sure this isn't even a good game, but I loved it as a kid)

  • WWF Royal Rumble (I loved wrestling as a kid, now? not so much)

What was your 1st console or handheld?

New York Legalizes Gay Marriage

New York is now the 6th state to legalize gay marriage! But there are still 39 states specifically banning it.

From what I've seen the main reason anyone opposes gay marriage is due to religious views. What other argument is there against it? The homosexual couples that I know that want to get married love each other just as much if not even more than the straight couples I know wanting to get married.

Homosexuality won't ruin the sanctity of marriage, if anything, it would help it. Its ok for straight people to get married 3, 4, 5 times over but its not alright for a homosexual couple to legally announce their love for one another?

Love is love, no matter the sexual orientation.

I fucking love animals, just sayin'.

Born-Again Atheist

People often ask me why I am so passionate about supporting Atheism and debunking Christianity.
I used to be a believer and while you're a believer you feel that your belief is the only way and that everyone would be better off as Christians, but as a non-believer, your eyes are open and you step back and realize how similar the major religions really are.
I feel so against Christianity simply because it dominates Western culture and is everywhere here in America and I don't go a day without seeing something supporting it and its almost like subliminal advertising. At least that's the way it feels for this Atheist.
I would have little issues with Christianity if more of his followers were more Christ-like, he seemed like a pretty decent guy for the most part. But then again, I don't even think He even existed... but that's for discussion later.

So I'm Not Exactly a Pro At This

I've never had a blog and the only thing I had a problem with in school was writing, so I guess I'm just not eloquent, so please bear with me.  This blog is about Atheism, video games, animals, questioning authority and probably just about life in general and what I'm most passionate about.
