Retro Monday - 90's Nick!

So Nickelodeon has finally decided to listen to the demands of millions of viewers and bring back the 90's shows we all loved (except KaBlam seems to be omitted). I think its a great idea and it shows that maybe the network has some sense.

My only gripe with the whole thing is that the shows are only being shown on TeenNICK and are only on for a 2 hour block from 12am-2am. I have one of the premium channel packages from Comcast, but I don't even have that channel and I work full-time day shift, so I'm sleeping during that time on the weekdays. I feel that the lineup should be a bit longer and shown on the regular Nickelodeon channel as well. That channel has nothing to keep it afloat but Spongebob, which I'm sure I'm not the only one that's sick of it, iCarly, which is a horrible show, and Nick @ Nite, which are classic tv shows that most of us are familiar with. The network could introduce the younger kids to the great 90's Nick game shows, sitcoms and NickToons most 90's kids hold so dear.

The Lineup:
  • Aaahh!!! Real Monsters
  • The Adventures of Pete & Pete
  • All That
  • The Amanda Show
  • Are You Afraid of the Dark?
  • Catdog
  • Clarissa Explains it All
  • Double Dare
  • Doug
  • Hey Arnold!
  • Kenan & Kel
  • Legends of the Hidden Temple
  • Nickelodeon GUTS
  • The Ren & Stimpy Show
  • Rocket Power
  • Rocko's Modern Life
  • Rugrats
  • Salute Your Shorts
  • The Secret World Of Alex Mack

One More JesusMobile!

I actually took these pictures a few years back and just now rediscovered them. My favorite part is on the rear of the CRV, with the Jesus fish eating the Darwin fish, I definitely lol'd when I saw it.

Oh To Be an Atheist in the South

I spotted this truck outside of Winn Dixie sometime last week, and the bad thing is, I think this is my friend's uncle's truck, he runs the Hope House here in town, which is a nice place for rehabilitation of men that were in prison and so forth, but he always goes overboard with his preaching, which you can see here for yourself:

Well Life Goes On?

Sorry I haven't posted lately, this week has been hard for me, I hate crying and being emotional around people and I've been doing a lot of both these past 7 days.

My daddy's uncle passed this morning and while we all knew his death was inevitable, it still came as a shock, especially being a mere week after my daddy's passing.

Right now, I'm working on getting the same star tattoo my daddy on his left hand, on mine as well. And returning back to "normal" life is hard, and some people probably feel like I should just get over it and that it'll all be fine, but I still feel like I'm on the verge of tears most of the day. I guess believing in some religion would make it feel better, because they feel like they'll see each other again. But I still am sick of hearing "It's God's will blah blah" or "The only way for comfort is to turn to Jesus." or "Put it in God's hands." or "Pray." Fuck that, my daddy's gone and that's it, there's no other way to put it. I am grateful to have plenty of great and funny memories to remember him by, he was definitely one of a kind.

RIP Daddy and Uncle Buddy

I Love You and Always Will

Today the only man I ever considered my "daddy" and I planned on having walk me down the aisle, passed away. He was 46. My own father never wanted me and believe me, I knew it. My "daddy" loved spending time with me, called me on my birthdays, bought me Christmas presents, and always told me he loved me. I can't recall my real father doing anything like that, ever, in all of my 21 years. Even when he lived 4 houses down the road from me, I was lucky if he honked his horn as he drove past. My "daddy" wasn't a perfect man, but he was the greatest to me simply because he loved me for who I was.
I don't believe in a Heaven and so I don't feel like I'll ever see him again, but that's fine with me, it'd be ridiculous to give myseluf false hope in ever seeing a loved one after their death. I have plenty of great memories to remember him by.
I apologize for any errors in this post, I haven't been home much today, so I wrote this on my phone while at my "daddy's" house.

Its Sunday! Praise Him!

I sure am glad atheism doesn't require me to get up and go worship on Sunday mornings. I'm pretty sure that every Sunday from now on I'll post about the church, seens how Sunday is "God's day".

One of my favorite songs of all time, definitely a winner:

There's no need for me to even have to point out how horrible this song is, I'm surprised the idiot that wrote and recorded this was even competent enough to make and post this.

Our Country is Screwed

How does anyone expect our country to get out of its overwhelming national debt (which apparently is now over $14 trillion dollars, thats $14,000,000,000,000.00 and thats a whole lot of zeros), when every dollar we have added to our circulation is borrowed with interest from the Federal Reserve.

That means that for every dollar that enters circulation, we owe the Federal Reserve that dollar plus (x) amount of interest. 1=1+X.

The Federal Reserve is the central bank of the United States and it supplies all the money in circulation. It doesn't just give our country the money, it loans it. So since we are in debt to them, how does America pay off the debt to the Federal Reserve? By borrowing more money, also at interest. This just puts our country in perpetual debt. And who has to pay this debt off? The American citizens.

What makes it even worse is the Federal Reserve is privately owned and about as Federal as Federal Express. Banking families such as the Rockefellers and Rothschilds control it. Woodrow Wilson who was president at the time it was signed into law regretted passing the act and later said this:
"I am a most unhappy man. I have unwittingly ruined my country. A great industrial nation is controlled by its system of credit. Our system of credit is concentrated. The growth of the nation, therefore, and all our activities are in the hands of a few men. We have come to be one of the worst ruled, one of the most completely controlled and dominated Governments in the civilized world -- no longer a Government by free opinion, no longer a Government by conviction and the vote of the majority, but a Government by the opinion and duress of a small group of dominant men."

Please read for yourself and do your own research into it. I feel that the vanishing value of the American dollar and ever mounting debt placed on us Americans is just one of the many ploys and factors put into place to prepare for what will eventually be the New World Order.
Also, check out the Amero, almost no one's heard of it and its something that affects all of us.

Take care everyone, and remember to question authority and take nothing simply at face value.

"Give me control of a nation's money supply, and I care not who makes it’s laws" - Mayer Amschel Rothschild  (Godfather of the Rothschild Banking Cartel of Europe)

"If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around them will deprive the people of all property until their children wake up homeless on the continent their Fathers conquered...I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies... The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to whom it properly belongs." -Thomas Jefferson
